Topics in OPENSTEP Programming is an incremental book, not designed to be read straight through from cover to cover. Whenever we come across an important OPENSTEP topic that needs to be covered in depth, we add a chapter to this book. The topics covered here apply to NeXT's implementation of OpenStep, which includes classes and methods that are not an official part of the OpenStep spec.
